A CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) device is an iPhone or iPad officially refurbished by Apple. Apple replaces the battery and outer enclosure with 100% new, genuine parts and subjects every unit to extensive functional testing to the same standards as a new device.

ASIS: genuine Apple device, without the original box

An ASIS (As-Is) iPhone or iPad is a genuine Apple device sold without its original box at a lower cost. These are typically replacement units or brand surplus. They retain 100% genuine hardware and a battery with at least 90% health; some units may already be activated.
